Kansas Legislative Policy Group, Inc. - A coalition of Rural Kansas counties.

Founded upon the common interest in the preservation of the counties tax base and retention of local control, KLPG now provides assistance to its member counties in matters pertaining to local, state and federal government activities.

Founded in 1979 as the Southwest Regional Planning Commission, they represented 13 counties.

Almost 40 years later, KLPG continues to represent the interest of 35 counties in Western Kansas and is now recognized among legislators as one of the most respected and influential organizations in the state.
